Jackie Lee (Jack) Madison, age 81, of Springfield passed away Friday, January 25th, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital. Jack was born July 5, 1937 in Enid, OK to Joe A. and Vera Opal Madison. Jackie Lee (Jack) Madison, age 81, of Springfield passed away Friday, January 25th, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital.
Jack was born July 5, 1937 in Enid, OK to Joe A. and Vera Opal Madison. He was a graduate of Enid High School and served in the Army National Guard. Jack retired in 1999 from Roadway Express after 25 years of service. Jack liked to work in his garden and watching rodeos. He was united in marriage on April 14, 1986 to Mary DePriest. Jack and Mary attended Church of Restoration, Springfield.
Survivors include his loving wife Mary of the home; six children, Brad Madison, Lori Madison, Bruce Madison, Michael DePriest, Michelle DePriest, and Brian DePriest; three grandchildren, Derek, Gus, and Abigail; one brother, Wes Madison; two sisters, Sue Burket and Diana Madison; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Vera Madison, and one brother Danny Madison
The family will receive friends from 11-12 on Friday, February 1, 2019. A celebration of Jack's life will be held Friday, February 1st, 2019 at 12:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home – South Springfield 441 West Battlefield Springfield, Missouri 65807, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Springfield Springfield , Missouri .Funeral services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South
