Sweet Cris, sending prayers for peace in your heart. I spent every moment I could with my father before he passed. Months of visits and talks and handholding. I’m really proud of you for being so attentive to him and I understand. Love and hugs ❤️

Jim was my dear friend. We laughed about a lot of things over the last 10 years. Most of our time together was as we were playing golf where, although there were not many, we could find humor even after a bad shot. I remember the day we were riding up number 9 fairway when he turned to me and said, " Dale , I am going to quit playing. The physical and psychological stress is too much" Sad moment. We have spent some time visiting with each other in his home in the last few years. As a caring man, nothing changed in his final setting. He was always friendly, upbeat, and attentive. A couple of times, my bride, Antonya, and I sang for him. He loved it so much. There were times when he sang along with us. We all agreed that he was better as a golfer than as a singer. lol After visiting with Jim and Gerrie, I always felt a refreshing. Our mutual friends have expressed this same sentiment from their visits. I cherish this friendship. He was like a brother just under a year older than I. God blessed us both with a long life. I know he is with the Lord, Jesus. Knowing that, I am comforted. I'll be along, my friend. Dr. Dale
