James Hurlen Waters passed away on Sunday Evening, January 14, 2018 at 11:47 PM. He had been having heart problems.
He resided in Galena, Missouri. Jim loved to fish. He also, especially in later years loved to go out to dinner with his friends and family.
Jim originally lived in Flowerfield, Michigan. He worked in Kalamazoo for the union #640 as a mason tender for 25 years. After retirement, he still kept busy working at odd jobs.
He lost his parents when he was young.
He left behind his wife of fifty seven years, Judith Waters, seven children: Charles Sickels of West Virginia, Saundra Furniss (Mike) of Galena, Missouri, Sonne Waters (Marlene) of Three Rivers, Michigan, John Waters (Bridget) of Mattawan, Michigan, Mendy Combs (Joe) of Three Rivers, Michigan, Robert Waters (Julie) of South Carolina, and Barry Waters of Schoolcraft, Michigan. He also left behind 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He will be missed by all of his friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 19,, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with Rev. Jim Cariker officiating. Burial will follow in the Yocum Pond Cemetery at Reeds Spring, Missouri.
