Jim Davis was a steady friend since we first met in 1992. I will miss him for the rest of my life. He was a very good guy, and I know he was a solid family man. He was honest, generous, funny and full of wisdom To Kathy, Sarah and Audrey, may you find comfort with your countless memories of him. He truly was one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace, my friend. Alan Breedlove

I knew James through our time in the Stockton FFA Chapter and attending school during our freshman year. Paul Tinsley was influential in many of our lives and James was no exception based on his career path. Our family ended up moving to Oregon when the dam was being built flooding our farm's bottom land similar to James family farm. I always appreciated James for his leadership in helping to organize class reunions and inviting me to attend even though I didn't; graduate with the class. James will be missed by many. My condolences to Kathy and the entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My brother, I will miss knowing I could always count on you for advise. I will miss your Apple Pies. I will miss that quirky smile behind the driest sense of humor. I will miss you. Thanks for loving you little sister.
