Jason was part of our Expedia Group team. I had the honour to work with him in the same team, separated by different time zones. He would come across as a conscientious team member with attention to detail and always interesting work-related things to share. Jason's departure taught me that we can never, ever be fully aware of what is inside the other people's minds. After the terrible news, I tried to find moments when I could ask him just "how are you" or send him a funny work meme, just to cheer him up, anything I could do to maybe contribute towards a decision against the one he took on March the 4th. And yet, I do understand it would take much harder work than that and not from me alone. Jay's sudden absence is triggered a reminder that the world can still become a kinder place for all. A place he will be greatly missed from though.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

You are greatly missed, Pasko. I will miss our random movie talks and listening to your stories from previous jobs as well as your military stories. I'll miss seeing your face and your one armed bandit in the background of zoom calls. I hope you are at peace.

Over in the Czech Republic, we knew and greatly respected Jason. He had a brilliant analytical mind and I am fortunate I could meet and work with him over the last 7 years. I am saddened by his passing and thinking of those he left behind. Rest in peace.
