Jayne Greaves Deam, age 65, of Battlefield, MO., passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022, in her home. She was born on June 10, 1957, to Mahlon and Esther Greaves in Morrisville, VT.
She graduated from Peoples Academy in 1975 and went to Burge School of Nursing, following was a 30-year career at Cox South Hospital as an RN Case Manager of Oncology. She was once honored as Nurse of The Year by her patients. She retired in 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Mahlon and Esther Greaves; sister, Carol Paine; brother, Stephen Greaves; great nephew, Thomas Paine; and brother-in-law, Norman Deuso.
She is survived by her spouse; Hyle Daughtry; children, Christie (Scott) Bramell; grandchildren: Emma and Hudson Bramell; sisters: Gail Deuso and Linda Greaves; nieces and nephews: Janet (Mike) Paine, Brent (Jane) Paine, Bruce (Gloria) Paine, Bill (Melanie) Paine, Julie (Jeff) Desrochers, Suzanne (Joe) Hurlburst, and Michael Deuso; many great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members.
To everyone who new Jayne and reached out with phone calls, messages, and kind words. She deeply cared for everyone: Thank you!
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Children’s Miracle Network and St. Jude in her honor, as she loved spending her time volunteering there.
A memorial visitation will be held for Jayne on Monday, September 12, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
