Jeffrey Alan Symmonds, died on May 10, 2017. He was born November 18, 1985, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Lonna and Scott Symmonds.
Jeff was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors. Although considered to be a chore to most people, one of Jeff’s favorite past times was cutting wood. If he was outside, he was happy. Jeff was a jack of all trades, from working on dairy farms, to landscaping, and construction, but his dream job was operating heavy equipment. Jeff never met a stranger and would help anyone and everyone out, if he could. Jeff lived his life to the fullest, full throttle, 100 mph, like his hair was on fire, all the time. If not, then he was asleep. He was hardheaded and stubborn, and did things his way, but he had a huge heart with an undying love for family, especially his children, his mother, his brother, his nieces, his dog Dixie and of course Grandma Freeman’s pumpkin bread. He never hung up the phone or left the house without telling his momma, “I Love You”.
Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Margaret Symmonds. Jeff is survived by his three beautiful children, Allyssa, Kyle and Kailynn, his parents Lonna Symmonds and significant other Brent Armstrong of Nixa, Scott Symmonds and wife Robin of Springfield, brother Ty Symmonds and wife Sarah, nieces: Nora and Zoey all of Springfield, girlfriend Kristina Strotheide of Strafford, maternal grandparents Jeaneta and Harry Freeman of Strafford, paternal grandfather Jim Symmonds of Cheyenne, Wyoming, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
