Jeremy Paul Kelso Jr., age 7, of Buffalo, Mo., passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2009, after a swimming accident. He was born March 29, 2002, in Springfield, Mo., to Jeremy Paul and Trena Aline (McGuire) Kelso Sr. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Buffalo. Jeremy just completed the first grade at D.A. Mallory Elementary School in Buffalo. Jeremy loved sports, trucking with his dad, being out on a farm, school, and his teachers and all his friends and relatives. His grandmother, Rose Anna McGuire; great-uncle Rick Parker; great-aunt Millie Lawley; and great-great-grandparents preceded him in death. He is survived by his parents, Trena Aline Kelso, Buffalo, and Jeremy Paul Kelso Sr. of Pleasant Hope, Mo.; sister Keayra Kelso of Buffalo, who Jeremy loved very much; paternal grandparents, Paul and Tammy Kelso of Pleasant Hope, Mo.; maternal grandfather, Donald McGuire of Springfield, Mo.; great-grandparents, Delmar and Sharron Yoakum of Strafford, Mo.; uncle Bart and Kelly Parker; and aunt Roxeanna and David Murphy; aunt Tolly and Chad Ruttan; aunt Rachel and Raymond Harris; and cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with Pastor Tim Haupt officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2009, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009, from 6 to 7 p.m., in the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at First Baptist Church of Buffalo. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Buffalo.
