Jeremy L Moore, beloved husband, father, son, and friend passed unexpectedly on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the age of 40. He is survived by wife, Julie Moore (Hunter), daughters, Riley and Lainey Moore, father, Lloyd “Wayne” Moore (Angel Hunt), and many uncles, aunts, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Veronica Moore (Swearengin), grandfather, Vernon Swearengin (Ruby Swearengin), and grandparents, Dean and Freda Sullivan.
Jeremy was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing with family and friends. He found joy and peace in nature and the quiet still of the sunrise in the woods or on the lake.
To rival his love of the outdoors, Jeremy had a lifelong love of sports. His extensive hat collection accumulated over many years was a testament to his support of the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Cubs, proudly worn during the good seasons and the bad.
Jeremy’s extensive love of music spanned all genres and many decades. He especially loved classic rock, 90’s grunge, rock, and outlaw country. This love of music is something he shared with his wife, and they passed along to their children with he and Julie often adventuring across many states to attend concerts of a variety of artists.
Jeremy was owner and operator of VCSI and was rarely seen without a jag of material over the boards. Trained by his grandfather, Vernon, from diapers, he was one of the last old-school outlaw truckers.
Rough and tough on the outside, those close to Jeremy truly felt his love for them and his family, especially Julie, Riley, and Lainey. Sadly, his time with his children was cut too short, but he made the most of the time he had by sharing his love of music and taking them to fish, hunt, and ride alongs in the dump truck.
He will be missed by so many.
