Jerroll R. Wommack, 88, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family in Republic on July 18, 2021. He was born on August 3, 1932 to Herschel and Pearl (Winter) Wommack. Jerroll was united in marriage to Kathleen Hodges on March 24, 1960. They were married for 61 years.
Jerroll was a 1950 graduate of Fair Grove High School and spent two years with the U.S. Army 531st Army Artillery Corp. He was employed for 46 years at Mid-America Dairymen in Springfield, MO. Jerroll was a long-time member of Republic First Baptist Church where he formerly served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was also a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shriners and the Republic Masonic Lodge #570.
Jerroll is survived by his wife Kathleen; his children Shawna (Terry) Thomason, Amy (Larry) Morse, Thomas (Kathy) Wommack, and Briana (Tony) Rouse; sister Janice (Larry) Graham; grandchildren Laura and Andy (Brittany) Thomason, Hannah (fiancée Sam) and Rachel (fiancée Nick) Wommack, Holden Morse, and Chandler (fiancée Renee) Rouse; step-grandson Josh (Jamie) Morse; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Gilman Wommack and wife Doris, and sister Betty Copeland and husband Norman.
Jerroll enjoyed traveling, especially to the Amish Country in Ohio to meet with friends and to the Hill Country in Texas to see the bluebonnets. He also enjoyed reading, genealogy, and working in his yard.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 on Thursday, July 22 at Republic First Baptist Church. The service will follow at 2:00 with Bro. Lee Miller officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Republic, MO. Jerroll and his family are blessed with a wonderful church family that always supports them with cards, visits and prayers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Republic First Baptist Church, 305 N. Main, Republic, Mo 65738 or to the charity of your choice.
