Thinking of you.

Kevin, There isn’t a lot that can be said or done to help ease the pain that you are going through right now. I can only say that it will get easier day by day and in time you will truly know that your mom is in a better place and without the troubles and hurts she had to endure. We all tend to forget little things about our loved ones that later become so important as we go dealing with our own problems from day to day. Like someone’s favorite movie or what their first job was. I am still sometimes bothered by not knowing my dad’s favorite color years after his passing even after a lifetime of being around him, talking on the phone and taking care of him. But I take comfort in knowing that he knows my feelings and my hurts. I know you were very close with your mom but were unable to visit with her as much as you would have liked in recent years. Take comfort in knowing that she now truly knows your heart and understands.

Mom, bless your heart. I miss you so much. There aren't enough words to honor you or express how much you meant to me. Thank you for being such a kind and loving Mother to me. Great memories of you will be in my heart forever, but I will never fill the void of missing you in my life. I love you dearly, always, Your son, Kevin
