It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Joseph Adams, a cherished husband, son, and friend. John was born on October, 20, 1955, in Berwyn, Illinois, and he found his peace on March 31, 2025, in Reeds Spring, Missouri. He was 69 years old.
John was known for his unwavering spirit and his dedication to his work as the owner and operator of a bait company, where he supported fellow anglers with passion and care. His commitment to his craft was only rivaled by his devotion to his family. John will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Sherry Adams. He was preceded by his cherished parents, James and Dorothy Adams and brother James. He and his wife moved to the area in 1982 and were the owners and operators of Early Bird Bait from 1989 until 2022.
John’s legacy will continue through the warm memories he created with those who knew him best. His gentle nature, kindness, and genuine love for life touched the hearts of many.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson on April 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM. A burial service will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery in Kimberling City at 2:45 PM.
As we gather to celebrate John’s life, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, son, and friend.
