Jolene Flint, 73, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away at her home on December 1, 2021. She was born on August 21, 1948, to Joseph and Dannie Foster in Springfield, Missouri. Jolene was a 1966 graduate of Bolivar High School. She married Bill Flint on September 25, 1967, and they had one daughter, Terrie.
Jolene was a selfless, kindhearted person. She was an awesome cook and loved to cook for everybody. She loved her career at the Polk County Health Center where she retired from after 40 years. She loved anything that had to do with yard work. Passersby could see her tending to her immaculate yard whether it was mowing, weed eating, planting, pruning, or landscaping.
Jolene was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Flint; her parents; her brothers, Mike Foster and Steve Wright; and her sister, Linda Thompson. She is survived by her daughter, Terrie and her favorite son-in-law, Kenny Reed; grandson, Jeff Reed; brothers: Elvin Foster (Karen), Brad Foster (Carol), and Rodney Foster (Dawna); she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
A private family inurnment will take place at Mt. Gilead Cemetery at a later date.
