Jonathan R. Lightle, 37, died January 18, 2017 in Tulsa, Ok. Jon was born July 10, 1979 in Springfield, MO. He graduated from Kickapoo High School in 1998. He served in the US Navy in the Nuclear Power Program, was stationed on a submarine, and earned a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering. After the military, Jon worked as a process safety operations manager for Holly Frontier. Jon will be remembered for his love for his boys, great sense of humor, sensitivity to others, loyalty to the Chiefs, and big heart.
Jon is survived by his three sons; Derrick (9), Mason (9), and Jacob (7), his wife Stephanie (Nicoll), his parents Ron and Debbie Lightle of Springfield, and his sisters; Ashley and Jackie. He also leaves his grandmothers; Elizabeth Humphreys and Carmen Lightle and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers; John Humphreys and Willis Lightle.
The Funeral service will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home South on Thursday, January 26 at 10am with visitation on Wednesday, January 25 from 6-8pm.
