He went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 26th, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He was born on May 5th, 1932 in Kamrar, Iowa, the son of Joseph Humes and Isa Humes. He was a retired carpenter and veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served during the Korean War. He had been a resident of the area for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sharon Freese of Hollister, MO., two daughters; LaVonne Turner and husband, Wendell of Galena, MO., Cathie Jo Michaelson of Owasso, OK., a sister, Mary Wright of Santa Rosa, CA., two grandchildren; Greg Warlick and Casey Jo Hall, four great grandsons; Jaden Warlick, Amis Warlick, Noah Warlick and Lucas Hall, son-in-laws; Bob Warlick of Branson, MO., and Craig Michaelson of Owasso, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Freese.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Sunday, October 30th, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home Branson.
