Joshua Kents Obituary Joshua Allan Kent lost his short battle with a rare form of cancer, Clear Cell Sarcoma on October 4th 2023. Josh was born to Chris and Monte Kent on April 24th, 1982. He grew up in Ottumwa Iowa where he loved riding bikes and hanging out with friends. In Josh’s junior year of High School he relocated with his mother to Edmond, Oklahoma and that same year he met the love of his life, Kaysha. They were then married August 13th of 2005 and together had two beautiful daughters, Zeffie and Zaddie Kent. In 2007 Josh and Kaysha moved to Ozark Missouri where Josh attended college and received a degree in HVAC. After working for a local business and learning the trade of appliance repair, Josh decided to go out on his own and in 2013 opened Z and Z appliance professionals. Together he and his wife ran the business until he got sick. In his free time Josh enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, golfing, and playing video games. Josh was an amazing father, he loved his family more than anything and when diagnosed with cancer in July of 2023 his main focus was staying strong and making sure they were okay. He was so loved by so many and will be forever missed. He was preceded in death by his mother Chris Kent, his maternal grandparents Barbra Hutchings and Bill Manz, his mother in law Daina Kelley. He was survived by his wife Kaysha Kent, His daughters Zeffie and Zaddie Kent, Paternal grandparents Vi and Kenneth Kent, Father Monte Kent, Aunts and Uncles Sharon Manz, Mike Manz, Sandi and Rodney Armstrong, Kim and Doug Lewis and Cousins Zachary Patton, Jarod and Eli Armstrong, Kelsey Hinshaw, Kyle Lewis, and Parker Fry.
Services for Josh will be at 2:00 pm Monday, October 9, 2023 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service. A private interment will be at a later date.
