Joshua J. “Jay” Cave, 38, of Nixa, passed away from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
Jay was born on October 18, 1971 to Pamela Sue Cave and Archie Ray Griffin. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Kelly Barnes Cave; two sons, Levi and Luke; two daughters, Lily and Lucy; one brother, Adam Cave; one sister Anissa Cave Buecker; two half-sisters, Lisa Griffin Glasgow and Brittany Griffin; along with numerous other family members and a host of friends.
Jay was a dedicated employee of Cedar Creek Wholesale Lumber Company for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and riding his Harley.
He was a loving, caring, devoted husband, father, son, and brother. Jay’s smile always lit up the room and will continue to light our hearts forever. He will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10 AM, Friday, October 15, 2010 at Greenlawn South Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highlandville Cemetery. Although he is gone we will continue to celebrate his memory.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Greenlawn South Funeral Home from 6-8 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2010.
In lieu of flowers and plants donations can be made in Jay’s honor at any Liberty Bank location.
