Joyce I. Orr, 76, passed away March 31, 2017 at Jordan Creek, Springfield, MO.
Joyce was born May 12, 1940 in St. Louis, MO and attended high school in St. Louis, MO
She worked for General Mills in St. Louis for a few years and then ran her own business for 20 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, James of 56 years: 2 sons, James of Springfield, MO, John of Rogersville, MO and a daughter Jeanne of Camdenton, MO. Joyce is also survived by her 3 grandchildren: Eric Slater of Jacksonville, NC, Laurie Orr and Michael Orr of Springfield, MO. Joyce also has one great-grandchild Jayden Slater. Joyce enjoyed times with her loved ones and friends and enjoyed reading books and going to craft fairs.
Visitation will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home South from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Springfield, MO. Burial will be at Lakewood Park Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
