Joyce Marie (Flanigan) Kemper, born to the late Lelah Flanigan and Burney Flanigan on July 27, 1943 in Springfield, MO went to be with her Lord Jesus at age 74 on April 21, 2018. Joyce was the loving wife of the late Walter Kemper and previously worked for Manor Care as Activities Director. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Leona Straddeck, Dorothy Persell, Darrell Flanigan, Wally Flanigan, and Janice Johnson. She is survived by her family, whom she loved dearly: daughters, Lori Walker-Nall, husband Jeff, Tracie Clark, Stephanie Reed, husband James; grandchildren, Blake Walker, Jaleah Willis, Josh Clark, Logan Reed, Hannah Clark, and Jared Reed; great-grandchild, Hayden Willis; all of whom will miss their Mamaw greatly. She is also survived by her sister, Lorene Johnson; nephew, Jeff Flanigan; and nieces Jill Sears and Vicki Lee. Joyce was a strong woman of faith and had an intimate relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, quilting, and making crafts. Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life service on Thursday, April 26th at 6:00 p.m. in Clark Chapel at James River Church, 6100 N 19th St, Ozark, MO.
