Joyce Martin

February 12, 1942 – August 27, 2024

Joyce Martin, age 82 of Strafford, MO passed away in a vehicle accident on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. She was born to John and Bonnie Still on February 12, 1942 in St. Joe, AR.

Joyce was a professional meat wrapper followed by a fast-food business owner and finally a homemaker. Her passion in life and greatest love were her husband, children, granddaughter and brother. She also adored her daughter’s fur babies, Tilly and Mandy. They brought her so much comfort and joy. To say that Joyce dedicated her life to her family is an understatement. Only her love for the Lord was deeper. She put her whole heart and soul into her family. They always came first. She was a guiding light, a bright and shining star to her family. She was their true north. Now her light is shining in heaven with Jesus. Joyce will live forever in the hearts of her family and everyone’s life she touched with her kind heart and gentle smile.

Joyce is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Doy Martin of Strafford, MO. She also leaves behind three daughters and two son-in-law’s, Debbie Martin of Strafford; Glenda and husband Michael DeFontes of Springfield; Patty and husband Scott Martin of Strafford; one granddaughter Heather and husband Jordan Fuellner of Republic; and one brother, Ken Still of Yakima, WA. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and one beloved son, Mike Martin.

Services will be held at Anderson Flat Cemetery in Verona, AR on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 10am.
