Joyce Yvonne Daniel, a Christian, 99, Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at peace in her home. Her daughter Margaret and family members were at her bedside. Joyce Yvonne Daniel, a Christian, 99, Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at peace in her home. Her daughter Margaret and family members were at her bedside.
Joyce was born to Lottie May Kipp and T. Runyon in Shelbina, Missouri, on January 27, 1926. Her husband, Bowen Bradley Daniel, Sr., her son, Bowen “Brad” Bradley Daniel, Jr., her parents, and two sisters preceded her in death.
Joyce was a beloved wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker. She attended Second Baptist Church in Springfield, MO.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Margaret De Wys; four grandchildren: Andrew, Katie, Becky, and Manon; eight great-grandchildren: Bowen, Oliver, Omni, Aaron, Benjamin, Rose, Kimber, Robert, and William; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road, in Springfield, Missouri. The Rev. Andrew Daniel will be officiating. Yvonne will be tremendously missed by her beloved family.
