Judith Ann Anderson, age 64, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Thursday, in Cox Medical Center South. She was born October 19, 1946, in Springfield, Mo., to Merlin D. and Bertha Sampson. She was a member of the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church. She had worked for Zenith for 30 years and had owned the Bennett Street Laundry for the last 15 years.
She is survived by her son, Doug Allan Anderson Jr.; her granddaughter, Alexandra Dee Anderson; both of Springfield, her former husband, Doug Anderson Sr.; and her two brothers, Joe and Wayne Whiteid, all of Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, January 4, 2010 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m., also in the funeral home.
