Judy Gale Chester, age 73 of Urbana, MO, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017, in her home. She was born April 20, 1943, in Hardy, KY, to Robert Lee and Elizabeth (Tolbert) Burchett. She is a member of the Our Savior Lutheran Church of Buffalo, MO, and served as the treasurer. She volunteered countless hours to the senior centers of Dallas and Polk counties, later being hired on as the activities director for Polk County and the surrounding area.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Terry, William, and Edward Burchett; a sister Debbie Johnson; and her husband of 25 years Charles Cleer.
She is survived by four children; twins Charles Cleer of Urbana, MO, and Robert Cleer of Milan, MI; twins Patricia Barnoskie of Bolivar, MO, and Pamela Jones of Springfield, MO; two brothers: Robert Burchett of Toledo, OH, and Ronald Burchett of Erie, MI; a sister Amy Hill of Lisbon, OH; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and her best friend Fred Chester; as well as many other relatives and friends.
In honor of Judy’s wishes there will be no funeral service, however, a celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
