Judith married the love of her life Jessie George, May 22, 1959.
Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie George, her parents Lester and Jeanette Smith, her sister Joan Layton, her niece Melissa Montgomery, and her nephew Chad Smith.
Judith is survived by her beloved daughter; Kimberly Gaines and, a son-in-law; Kenneth Gaines, a sister; Joyce Hurd (Allen) a brother; Larry Smith (Paula) 3 grandchildren,
8 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, a niece Alana Hurd and many great friends.
She was a Charter member of Charity Baptist Church, of Springfield MO. She loved teaching the preschool and taking care of children.
Visitation will be at Saturday, May 4, 2024, 1:00 PM prior to services at Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
A Funeral Service will be held in celebration of Judith's life at Greenlawn Funeral Home south in Springfield, on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM, with burial following at Lindsey Chapel Cemetery, in Republic Missouri.
Memorial Contributions can be donated to Charity Baptist Church, Springfield MO.
