Julie (Cline) Kudrna, born on July 20, 1972, to Marvin and Shelley Cline, went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2025.
Julie was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents: Della “Lorene” Welch Mullins, Robert Mullins, Martin Samuel Cline, and Helen Margret Wood Cline.
She is survived by her loving children, Matt Kudrna and his wife, Bailey Kudrna, and Samantha Gray; her cherished grandson, Owen, and a second grandson, Clark, who is expected later this year. She also leaves behind her devoted parents, Marvin and Shelley Cline; her brother, Jason Cline and his wife Jennifer; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Julie grew up in Climax Springs, MO and graduated from Climax Springs High School in 1990. She attended Missouri State University before choosing a different path—one that reflected her heart for people and her unwavering dedication to her family.
Above all, Julie’s life was anchored by her faith and her boundless love for her family. She poured herself out for the people she cared about, always putting their needs ahead of her own, regardless of time or resources. Her generosity, compassion, and selflessness defined her, and those who knew her were better for it.
Julie will be missed beyond words and remembered forever for her kindness, strength, and the deep love she gave so freely.
A Celebration of Life for Julie will be at 1:00 pm Friday April 18, 2025 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. A memorial visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 pm April 18, 2025 prior to the Celebration of Life.

Julie was a long time insurance provider for the teachers at Springfield Public Schools. She came to our school, Horace Mann Elementary, many times. She just recently became my insurance agent. She lowered our car insurance by quite a bit. My son and I had just facetimed with her a few weeks ago to secure his life insurance policy. Julie was kind, enthusiastic, super helpful and loved helping teachers and their families. I will truly miss seeing her smiling face. I am praying for her family during this difficult time. I'm so sorry for your loss of a truly remarkable mother, daughter, grandmother, family member and friend. She will not be forgotten!

Julie’s daughter, Samantha, was our son’s full-time caregiver and continues to be a treasured member of our chosen family. Through Samantha, we have also come to know and love Matt, Bailey, and Owen, who have all been incredible friends to our family. We had the privilege of meeting Julie during her visits to Waco, and our family was immensely touched by how loving and kind she was toward our son.
