Junior William “Bill” Hubble, 83, Marshfield, MO. passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, after a long illness. He was born in Niangua, MO, on June 6, 1938, to Charlie and Lock Mae (McCormack) Hubble. Bill was a owner-operator of Kearney Street Auction Company for 20 years. He was known for his ability to buy or sell most anything. Prior to the Auction Company, Bill and his wife ran the Dairy Queen restaurant on North Glenstone for many years. He was also a former Police Officer for the City of Springfield. Bill loved playing cards and was often seen with a deck of cards in his hand.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Judy Hubble and his second wife, Carol Jean Hubble. He is survived by his two sons: David Hubble and his wife, Quita and Mark Hubble and his partner, Dale, three grandchildren and one-great-grandchild, one sister: Juanita Tremain and niece and nephew: Caroline and Ronnie Kensinger and his special friend, Ty Stapp.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens beside his first wife, Judy K. Hubble. Visitation will be one hour before services, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
