Karen Ann Woodmansee, 65, of Pleasant Hope passed away Thursday March 23rd 2017 at Cox South surrounded by her family. She was born in Peoria Illinois the daughter of Joe and Anna Kirksey. She graduated from Pleasant Hope High School in 1969.
She was married July 14, 1979 to Randy Woodmansee. She worked in the Polk County Assessor’s office for 21 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Anna Kirksey. She is survived by her husband Randy, daughter Jennifer Johnson of Ash Grove, son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Shannon Woodmansee of Pleasant Hope, son and daughter-in-law Travis and Erica Woodmansee of Morrisville, five grandchildren, and two sisters; Kay Dryer and husband Bill of Aldrich, MO, and Peggy Barham and husband Jack of Halfway, MO.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday March 27th 2017 in Pitts Chapel in Bolivar, MO. Services will be at 11 am March 28th 2017 in Pitts Chapel. Burial will be in the Brighton Cemetery in Brighton, MO. Pastor Randy Urich will officiate.
