Karen Kay Inman aka: Grandma / KK
Karen Kay Inman made her transition from this life to her heavenly home on July 27, 2022 at Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.
Karen was 79 yrs old and was born to Russell & Eileen Klehm on Oct. 8th 1942 in Dana Iowa. She graduated from St. Agnes High School in Springfield Mo. and went on to attend St. Johns School of Nursing, where she received a degree in nursing in 1963 then spent a 47 yr career at St. Johns/Mercy serving her community doing what she loved.
She was a great wife, mother, grand-mother, sister, aunt, friend, mentor, and the leader of our little tribe as she exemplified the meaning of “un-conditional love” for all people as she loved fiercely, living her life to the fullest every day.
Karen was preceded in death by her husband Jody Inman, Son David Inman, her parents Russell & Eileen Klehm, and Sister Marlyn Branam & brother In-law John Branam.
Karen is survived by her daughter Kim Avery & husband Jeff Avery, 1 Brother, 2 Sisters, Countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, close relatives, and friends.
Karen was always hardworking, fun loving, always seemed to see the best in everyone, and had a contagious smile that seemed to infect all around her.
Karen’s Happy Place was at the beach or any place she could find a paying slot machine, or at the least enjoying watching others win.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 8th at 11:00am with the Service following at 12:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home East 3540 East Seminole.
