I spent my first 20 years in Financial Aid in Missouri and knew Kathy and Todd well. Both were greatly respected in the Financial Aid world. They were a joy to be around. May the Lord bless and keep all of your families at this difficult time.
Mark and Juliana Hudson left a message on June 30, 2023:
This obituary describes Kathy to a T. When Mark worked for her at MoHELA, she made us feel welcomed and loved. She and Todd had us over for supper and we had a great evening. I loved student financial aid events when they were there. She and Mark spent over 10,000 miles in the car together. She was the first to know he was going to propose to me (even before our parents!). She had a part in our wedding day and I have a picture of her dancing with Mark and she has the best smile! She will always be in our hearts. Our sincere condolences to your entire family

Kathy was my supervisor when I started working at Burge School of Nursing. She was so pleasant to work with and made my work easy by her commendation. She encouraged me to apply for Admissions Counselor when that position was created. I was promoted to that position and continued to work closely with her. She was truly a special lady and one I was happy to call my friend.
