Keith Alan Arnold, age 65, of Seymour, Missouri, passed away at his residence on November 8, 2024. Keith was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was born to Lawrence and Gertrude (Klear) Arnold on February 3, 1959, in Marshfield, Missouri. For most of his childhood, Keith was raised in Conway, Missouri, and then moved for a brief time to Buffalo, Missouri. His final move was to Springfield where he attended Central High School. Keith was the proud father of his only child, Crystal.
For the vast majority of his career, Keith worked as a talented diesel mechanic. For three years, Keith excelled as a diesel mechanic at Werner Enterprises, one of the largest truckload carriers in North America. He then joined Trailiner Corporation; a refrigerated truckload carrier headquartered in Springfield. He served Trailiner as a dedicated and knowledgeable diesel mechanic for many years prior to his retirement. Keith loved his job at Trailiner and made countless lifelong friends while working there.
When not working, Keith liked to build model cars and trucks. He was an avid fan of Missouri Tiger football (go Mizzou!) and the Kansas City Chiefs. One of his favorite pastimes was watching television and movies, especially comedies. He was particularly fond of American ventriloquist, Jeff Dunham. Nothing, however, brought him more joy and fulfillment than spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a skilled mechanic who was hardworking and devoted to his family. His contagious laughter and fun-loving sense of humor will leave a void in the lives of those who were impacted by his wit and wisdom.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Gertrude Arnold; brother, Ronnie Arnold; sister, Cynthia Mayham; sister, Joyce White; granddaughter, Angel Russell, and great-grandchild, Baby D. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Arnold; granddaughter, Destiny Arnold; great-grandchildren, Dae’Lonni Scaife and Dae’Vontae Arnold. He also leaves behind nine siblings: Dennis Arnold and wife Kathy, Connie McCord and husband Butch, Beverly Smith and husband Guy, Lawrence Arnold and wife Debbie, David Arnold, Daniel Arnold, Patricia Arnold, Gary Arnold, and Mark Arnold; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
