Kenneth Oren Sanders, Jr, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly on August 12, 2021, at the age of 77.   Ken was born to Kenneth and Marilyn (Vance) Sanders on September 14, 1943 in Peru, Indiana.  He was a 1962 graduate of John Adams High School in South Bend, Indiana.  Ken was preceded in death by his parents, beloved grandparents James and Ethel Vance, aunt Mildred Vance Kollar, aunt Lois Vance Liebman and cousin Kimberly Liebman.

Ken is survived by his wife of 42 years, Karin, of Tempe, Arizona, children Sheri (Mike) Ballard of Nixa, Missouri, son Dan (Darcy) Zeiger of Gilbert, Arizona, daughter Jodee (Jim) Muller of Gilbert, Arizona.  Ken is also survived by six grandchildren, Macy and Madilyn Ballard, Joshua and Ian Zeiger, and Tyler and Brynlee Muller.  Surviving also is sister Judy (Jim) Walker and nephews, David and Jesse, of Phoenix, Arizona.

Ken was an avid baseball fan and car enthusiast, about which he could talk for hours.  He loved to attend sporting events, concerts, travel to San Diego with Karin, and spent many a treasured summer with extended family on their houseboat.  Ken served our country in the United States Army for two years in the 1960’s.  No services are planned at this time.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
