Kristi June Bolli, 31, of Springfield, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2021.
On June 9, 1989, the Bolli family happily welcomed their fifth child, Kristi. Although she was born in Chillicothe, Missouri, she moved a few months after to Springfield, where she spent all her life. Kristi was an active person and good athlete, she played soccer from elementary school through high school, and in the summer, she enjoyed visiting her aunt and uncle, June and Steven Grooms, and cousins, Brandon and Brooke on their farm in Kidder, Missouri where she loved helping with the animals and going to County and State Fairs.
Kristi attended Kickapoo High School, where she played trombone and baritone in both Marching band and Jazz band. After graduating from Kickapoo, in 2008 she continued her education at Missouri State University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Conservation. Kristi’s passion for conservation and sense of adventure took her to Vashon Island, Washington, where she blazed trails, and Jamacia, where she used her SCUBA license to catch and remove invasive fish species. She traveled all over the United States and as far as Ireland.
Spending time outside, fishing, hiking, camping, and floating were some of her favorite things to do. She also loved to spend time around family and friends, serenading them with her ukulele. Kristi had a real zest for life and knew how to ensure that everyone around her had a good time and felt welcome. She lit up the room. Kristi cherished her family and friends, and she will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
Kristi is preceded in death by her grandparents and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her parents, Ed and Mary Ann Bolli of Springfield, Missouri, her siblings, Jana Bolli (Regina Mills) and Kara Richards (Bryan) of Branson, Jade Bolli (Lindsey Young), Jon Bolli (Amy), and Michael Bolli (Sarah Coy) of Springfield; nieces and nephews, Landon, Hope, Ian, Haley, Emma, Weston, Maria, Shayne, Jack, and Jaxon; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
