Larry Lee Reynolds was born November 21, 1933 in Springfield, Mo., the only child of Eddie Lee and Lelia Beatrice Manes Reynolds. He was a life-long Springfieldian attending Teft Elementary, Pipkin Jr. High and Springfield Senior High School.
Larry made his profession of faith in Christ at an early age while attending Daily Vacation Bible School at North National Boulevard Baptist Church. He later observed the ordinance of baptism and was united in membership where he attended as long as his health allowed. On June 17, 1952 Larry was united in marriage to his life-long friend and high school sweetheart, Alma Irene Ford. They became the parents of two sons and a daughter, grandparents of six and great grandparents of ten. They recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Larry began working at various jobs at an early age. He was a member of Teamsters Local 245 and was retired from Mid-America Dairymen, Inc., after thirty years of employment there in machine maintenance. Larry enjoyed a slower pace of life spending time with his family having a deep love and sincere commitment to them acting as a wise and gentle counselor. His guidance will be greatly missed.
