Larry Mease age 78, of Reeds Spring, Missouri passed away on January 1, 2026 at his home.
He was born on October 23, 1947 in Reeds Spring, Mo. the son of R. J. and Lexie Graves Mease. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a retired carpenter. He graduated from Reeds Spring High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and farming. He also enjoyed collecting rocks and was a closet writer.
He is survived by his wife; Shirley Mease of the home. Five children, Rob Mease (Amber) of Reeds Spring, Shona Kolster (Alan) of Blue Springs, Missouri, Tonya Sharp (Darin) of Stigler, Oklahoma, Kristal Porter (Rick) of Reeds Spring, and Danielle Blizzard and fiancé Kevin Henry of Carthage. One brother, Darrel Mease of Licking, Missouri. 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Larry was preceded by his parents, his first wife, Sophia and one sister, Rita Davis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with Pastor John Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Yocum Pond Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
