June 3, 2001 - July 2, 2017

Lauren Nicole Henley of Nixa, Missouri passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday July 2, 2017. Lauren was born June 3, 2001 in West Plains, Missouri to Jared and Nikki Henley.
Lauren was best known for her sweet, bubbly personality and enjoyed an active life with many friends. She had an infectious smile and was never one to shy away from trying something new. She loved nature and spending time with her family outdoors, especially watching a beautiful sunset. The first five years of her life were spent playfully pretending that she was a puppy, a true testament to her love for animals which she maintained throughout her life. When her nose wasn’t in a book Lauren could often be found expressing her creativity by writing poetry or drawing. She enjoyed sharing her hope for the future, found in the Bible, with others and her long term goal was to become a full-time minister in the Nixa congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses where she was an active member.
Lauren is survived by her parents, Jared and Nikki Henley; her brother, Colin Henley; 3 grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
When you think of Lauren please remember her for her love of life, her love of those around her, and her faith in God. May we always cherish the happy memories we enjoyed with Lauren.
A memorial service for Lauren will be held Monday July 10, 2017 at 1:00 P.M at Greenlawn East Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri.
