Laurie Ann Kennedy 59, Springfield, Mo. passed away February 8, 2017, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield. She was born in Topeka, Kansas, on November 26, 1957 to John P. and Barbara Ann (Rowland) Kennedy. She was a commercial cleaner for 20 years. She had attended M.S.U. receiving her associates degree in business.
Laurie was preceded in death by her father, and by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors include her life companion, John Gold, her daughter; Elizabeth Ann Kennedy, and her parents: Barbara Ann and Kenneth Stemmons.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Visitation will be an hour before services from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in the Marrionville, Mo. IOOF Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri; 3161 West Norton Road, Springfield, Mo. 65803.
