On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, our precious Momma, Lee Annette Perry, peacefully went to her heavenly home.
Annette was born November 8, 1938, in Pomona, CA. to Dallas L. and D. Marie (Baird) Kaufman. She graduated from Central Senior High School, Springfield, MO. in May 1956. Annette was united in marriage to the love of her life, Leslie L. Perry “Bud” on Oct. 6, 1956, Springfield, MO. To this union, they were blessed with three children, Ricky, Michael & Jacqueline. She was a stay-at-home mom and bookkeeper for their shop, Bud’s Tire & Wheel. She was a long-time member of Elwood AG, Elwood, MO. and Calvery Temple AG, Springfield, MO. Where she made many cherished-lifelong friendships, especially at her Tuesday morning, CT Ladies Prayer Group. She enjoyed scrapbooking and tending to her flowers & plants. She had a passion for hand quilting and made hundreds of baby and lap quilts to give to family, friends and numerous charities including Shriners Hospitals, Isabel’s House and the Pregnancy Care Center. Her kindness, compassionate spirit and sweet smile, will be greatly missed.
Annette is survived by her three children, Ricky Perry (Kathryn), Springfield, MO., Mike Perry (Tonnia), Fair Grove, MO., Jackie Perry-Kornegay (Bryan) Sun City West, AZ. and cherished sister, Betty Jo Davis, Springfield, MO. She was an amazing Mamaw and adored her 9 grandchildren; Jacob, Kristina, Shyrah, Iceley, Dakotah, Daniel, Chris, Regina and Shawn and 8 great grandchildren; Henley, Boston, Crimsyn, Alistair, Amelia, Averie, Kent and Alexander, as well as numerous cherished cousins, nephews, nieces, stepfamily and friends. She also leaves behind her faithful canine companions, Duchess and Koa, who gave her so much love, attention and comfort.
Annette was preceded in death by Bud Perry, grandson Daniel Levi Perry, nephew David Tyler, great-niece Summer Perry, sister Kathy Dickison, brother-in-law David Dickison, brother-in-law Bob Perry, sister-in-law Betty Perry, nephew Mark Perry and treasured friend Betty Higbee-Clark.
Our deepest appreciation goes out to her daily caregiver, she called him her Hero, grandson Dakotah Perry. The family also wishes to convey their sincerest gratitude to Banner Home Care and Hospice of the Valley, for their wonderful care, love and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in honor of Annette to Isebel’s House, Springfield, MO, or The Pregnancy Care Center, Springfield, MO.
