He passed away on August 8, 2021 at The Maples Health and Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, Missouri.
Lee Roy was born on August 19, 1937 in Reeds Spring, Missouri a son of Claude and Rebecca Dickens. He and his wife were the owners/operators of Dickens Gift Shoppe in Branson from 1967 until 2012. He was a member of the Keystone Baptist Church in Reeds Spring, Missouri.
Survivors are his two children; Dianne Call (Russ) of Ozark, Missouri and Lisa Land (Jace) of Redmond, Washington. A brother; Ray Dean Dickens (Linda) of Kansas City, Missouri, and a sister Wanda Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Two grandchildren, Timothy Haynes (Erin) and Rebecca Davis (Thomas) and four great grandchildren, Mikayla, Marcy, Brooklynn and James. Lee Roy was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Rebecca Dickens and step mother Inez Dickens, one brother, R.J. Dickens and the love of his life Cleta Dickens.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers are suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee in his memory.
