Lewis Jackson “Jack” Watts 68, Springfield, Mo. passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017, in his home, after a battle with cancer. Born on December 12, 1948, in Salem, Illinois, to James Hervey and Isabel Janet (Phelps) Watts, he was a long-time area resident. Jack was a yard supervisor for a Scrap Iron Company. He loved playing pool at Billards and Shooters and a lot of other places, where he made a lot of friends.
Survivors include his wife, Myrna, a daughter, Daisha Mitchell, of Nixa, Mo. three grand-daughters; Jamee Jo, Ricki Lyn, and Kera Sue, two brothers; James Robert Watts, Blue Springs, Mo.and Robert Anzel Watts, of Smyrna Beach, Fl. a sister; Janet Hartman, of Smyrna Beach, Fl. Aswell as numerous nieces and nephews.
No memorial service s are planned at this time. The body is being cremated under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
