Linda Anne (Olsen) Beatty, age 57, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on May 21, 2021. She was born on March 6, 1964, in Cloquet, Minnesota, to Harry Duane Olsen and Ruth Anne Ban. She graduated from Parkview High School before starting a career in customer service.
Linda won her battle with cancer because her faith in Jesus; she knew where she was going, home to be with her maker. She always wanted to share her love of Jesus with everyone. Linda was a friend of Bill W. and shared her experience, strength, and hope with all. She had a special quality of making everyone know that they were loved by God. Linda was in the service industry and was awarded many times for the quality of her work. When Linda could no longer work she took her ministry to the streets, phone, and social media. Always encouraging and helping others…leading by example; Linda never met a stranger, she shared what she had with all. Linda was also awarded Little Miss Butler County in 1968 at even that age she was “Lovely”. Linda loved good music, long drives in the country, singing all the way, nature, animals, but most of all Linda loved God, her family and friends; Linda touched and lead many to Christ. Linda’s contagious smile and laughter will stay with us always.
She was preceded in death by her father Harry D. Olsen. She is survived by her mother Ruth Anne Ban; sisters, Tina Wallace, Randee Olsen, Candy Beaulieu (Chad), and Tammy Schleret (Joe); brothers, Eric Macom (Paula) and Duane Olsen (Tracy); nieces and nephews, Mandy Brookshier, Joshua Brookshier, Colton Olsen, Hunter Olsen, Makenzee Schleret, Parker Schleret, Cross Beaulieu, Colby Beaulieu Krysta Nye-Tahtinen, Shayne Correira, Isaac Snetselaar, and Makena Brookshier; stepmother, Beverly Olsen; and Chelsea Campbell, a special friend who helped take care of Linda.
There will be a celebration of her life on May 29, 11:00, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with a visitation preceding it from 10:00-11:00.
