Thank you so much for streaming Linda's funeral. Just as it was said, she always made us feel like part of her family. I remember when she and Don came to "care for Larry and I and the twins". She arrived carrying food because she knew our hands were full. She and Don took over the care of Josh and Becca and loved on us. That was almost 45 years ago. We will miss our monthly lunch and game afternoons. We are heart broken with you. Love to all. Jan and Larry Cooper

We moved from OH in 1986. The first person to greet us and four of our children was Linda. We all instantly loved her, especially our kids. She always had some kind of candy or a piece of gum for them. She knew what they needed to make them feel welcomed. God Bless your family as life without her will be so different but she lives on in each of your smiles and in all of our hearts.

I met Linda when she came to join our Women’s Ministries team. I have a lot of fond memories of those years. And in recent years I’ve enjoyed catching up thru lunches she organized for current & former WM staff. I am so blessed to have known her. My sincere sympathy & prayers to Don & family. Heaven gained a beautiful gem.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Sixty six years ago Linda and I met at North Central Bible College. We were roommates, I introduced her to my cousin, Don (THAT worked out awesome!) and above all friends and sisters in Christ. Losing her presence here on earth is hard, but oh, never to have known her would be so much harder!

Don and Linda, you came into our lives when we arrived in Springfield in 1992. You quickly became our adopted family, or perhaps better, you adopted us! You were such a precious friend, mentor, advisor, and Nana to Derek and Kelly. You are greatly missed, but we take great comfort knowing you are now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, pain-free, and being reunited with so many loved ones and friends. We will see you again, soon!
