Lloyd Ray Goodwin, 60, of Rogersville, Missouri passed away May 27, 2014 of a sudden heart attack, while vacationing in Bohol, Philippines. He was born August 15, 1953 to John Lloyd Goodwin and Mary Caroline (Fitzpatrick) Goodwin.
Lloyd owned and operated Preferred Hearing, a successful hearing aid company for many years, until retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers: Don, John, Jerry, Ned and Ricky Goodwin and Larry, Coy and Jimmy Davis, three sisters: Linda Shipman, Sue Goodwin and Robin Goodwin. Lloyd is survived by two sons: David and Michael Goodwin both of Springfield, two grandchildren: Andrew Goodwin of Springfield, and Alyssa Goodwin of Ozark, four brothers: Bill Goodwin of Webb City, Harley Goodwin ofFordland, Steven Goodwin of Springfield and Dale Goodwin of Springfield, three sisters: Sally Courtney of Springdale, AR, Sissy Goodwin of Springfield, and Patty Keltner of Springfield, and scores of nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North. A Memorial Mass will be at St. Agnes Catholic Church at 10:00 am Wednesday, July 23, 2014, with inurnment to follow at Bass Chapel Cemetery.
