Lois Marie Morton, 92, passed away October 17, 2017 in Springfield, MO. Lois was born December 29, 1924 to Jim and Floy Yarberry. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Augha Rapp and Lucille Hubbard; and her brothers, Billy and Leo Yarberry. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Russell “Bud” Morton, and several nieces and nephews.
Lois worked in customer service at Heers for many years. She was a long-time member of Boulevard Baptist Church. Lois always had a sweet spirit and positive attitude, even during her illness.
There will be no formal visitation. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, October 27th, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3645 South Ave., Springfield, MO 65807.
