It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lola Eileen Pierce, who left this world on December 1, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on January 24, 1929, in Camden County, Missouri, Eileen lived a vibrant and fulfilling life that touched all who knew her.
Eileen was united in marriage to Robert F. Pierce. She was a mother to her four children Tommy, Patsy, Terry, and Denny. Eileen was also a cherished grandmother, sister, and aunt.
Eileen was a remarkable woman, known for her feisty spirit and resourceful nature. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was dancing under the stars or riding horses through the lush Missouri countryside. Her creative soul shone brightly through her hobbies-crocheting, quilting, sewing, and crafting beautiful pieces that brought joy to those she held dear. A true nurturer at heart, Eileen had a green thumb, transforming her garden into a haven filled with vibrant flowers, particularly her cherished iris blooms.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley Norris and Lola (Boin) Golden, her husband Robert F. Pierce, her four children Tommy Heckman, Patsy Holcomb, Terry Heckman, and Denny Heckman and her sister Mary Mincy.
Eileen is survived by her loving family, including her sisters Fannie Frank, and Joan Tofuri, and her cherished grandchildren: Connie Bistarkey, J.D. Holcomb, Emma Mayabb, Johnny Heckman, Thomas Heckman, and Jason Heckman. As well as numerous nephews and nieces. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, and her memory will forever live on in their hearts. She will also be missed by her beloved chihuahuas Blondie and Missy.
We invite friends and family to celebrate Eileen’s remarkable life during her service at Greenlawn Funeral Home, North on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, beginning at 2:00 pm. A visitation will take prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm also in the funeral home. Eileen will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
As we gather to honor Eileen’s life, we share our love and fond memories, reflecting on the beauty she brought into this world. In her own unique way, she crafted a tapestry of love, rich with colors of compassion, creativity, and family-a legacy that will continue to bloom in our hearts.
In honor of her life, we will remember her laughter, her warmth, and the beauty she created, celebrating a life well-lived and deeply loved.
