After a courageous battle with cancer, Cindy Roy went home to her Lord on August 20, 2017. Cindy was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ona Lee Young. She is survived by her husband John Roy and three children: Angela Bounds (John), Brian Roy (Mickie) and Travis Roy as well as six treasured grandchildren; and a brother Stephen Young.
Cindy made all who entered her home feel like family. Her wit, love of family, and generosity has left a lasting legacy.
A celebration of Life will take place at 1996 E. Wheatridge, Springfield on Wednesday from 6-8 pm with an intimate service at 6:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Truman Elementary.
