Lyndel Dwayne Jefferis, 68, of Fair Grove, Missouri, passed away on March 30, 2026, in Cox South Hospital.
Lyndel was born on September 7, 1958, in Springfield, Missouri, to Herlin Wayne and Geraldine Jefferis. He attended school in Fair Grove from first grade through twelfth grade. He worked for a time in car repair with his father, then went on to own his own concrete company. Lyndel was a man of many talents and occupations throughout his life, eventually settling into working doing property repairs for Real Estate Agents.
There was never a man more full of life and fun than Lyndel. He truly loved life. You could count of seeing him at just about every concert. Gambling- especially horse racing- was one of his favorite pastimes. He worked hard and played even harder. His laugh was constant and infectious. Lyndel had a heart of gold and helped many people, whether by lending money or fixing something that needed repair.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herlin Wayne and Geraldine Jefferis, as well as many friends and loved ones.
Lyndel is survived by his son, Jeremy Jefferis and his partner Keelie; his sister, Joetta Eagleburger, many niece and nephews; his cousin, Judy Jefferis; and his beloved fiancée, Helen Gunther, along with many close friends and loved ones.
