With heavy hearts yet joyful spirits, we celebrate the life of Maddie Rose Hoke, who was born on June 22, 1987, in Springfield, Missouri, and who left this world on June 3, 2025. Maddie brought light and love to all who knew her, living each day with compassion and kindness.
Maddie’s gentle spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched.
Maddie is preceded in death by her grandparents: Rosemary and David Hoke: Virgie Woodson, and step-grandfather Clinton Taylor. Her parents: Alan and Sherri Hoke, and her step-mother: Mary Hoke.
Maddie is survived by her significant other: Jeff Scobee, her loving son Grayson Forest Scobee. Her beloved siblings: Cherish, Lacy, and Cody Hoke, her step-siblings: Rebecca Schooling and Matt Crowder. Her Grandmother: Anna Taylor, aunts and uncles: Virgie Stuart, Charlie and Beth Hoke, Linda and Skip Marshall, plus many cousins, nieces and nephews, They reflect on many moments shared with laughter and her unyielding love for family and friends.
Funeral services in celebration of Maddie’s life will be held at a date to be announced, with a ceremony reflecting her warmth and joy. Family and friends are invited to share stories and memories, honoring the beautiful legacy that Maddie leaves behind. We will gather to remember her bright spirit and the impact she made on our lives.
