Margaret M. Turner, age 79, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on March 18, 2022. She was born on September 19, 1942 in Springfield, Missouri. She graduated from Central High School and attended Draughon Business College.
Margaret enjoyed spending time outside gardening, mushroom hunting, and gathering plants to eat. She also loved to spend time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Troupe; her father, Marvin Jones; and her sister, Bonnie Fleck.
She is survived by her children: Kelly Turner and wife Elizabeth King; and Ken Turner and wife Stephanie Ireland; her grandchildren: Stephenie Cowden, Jennifer Turner, Stephanie Putnam, Cody Turner, and Kyle Turner; her great-grandchildren: Adien, Sahara, Ashlen, Briar Turner, Harper Turner, Brix Turner, and Hudson Turner; her brothers: Don (Butch) Jones and Mike Jones; her nieces and nephews; Kevin, Marvin, Micheal, Melissa, Tommy, Mary Marie, and Jessica.
There will be a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Kitchen in Springfield, Missouri.
