Margo Beth Parker Hudson, P.h.D Margo was born to Jack and Shelia Mosten on February 17, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan. From an early age, she showed signs of being a tremendous leader. After a distinguished career working in human resources as an executive and as an executive consultant in the aerospace industry, it seemed natural to those who knew and loved her that Margo returned to school to earn a PhD in Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. Margo grew up in Los Angeles, California, where she attended Hamilton High School and UCLA. Throughout her life, Margo was known to be an exceptional friend, a wise counselor, and a person dedicated to her family and values. Margo married Dan Hudson on June 11, 1978, in Huntington Beach, Calif. and they renewed their wedding vows after 36 years on April 13, 2014. Margo is survived by her husband Dan, who stood by her side as her partner and best friend throughout her life and through her four-and-a-half year battle with Metastatic Melanoma. Margo is also survived by her brother Forrest, whom she called her “hero,” and her five daughters (Lorraine, Deanna, Michelle, Jocee, and Emily), whom she loved fiercely. Margo was a proud and devoted grandmother to ten grandchildren and great-grandmother to one great-grandson, all of whom called her “Grammy.” Margo and Dan moved to Clever, Missouri, in 1994. Margo is a past president of Springfield’s Temple Israel and was an active volunteer in the community. She will be missed dearly and fully by all those who love and respect her.
