Marilyn Jane Schwalie, age 71, of Battlefield, Missouri, peacefully passed away on March 6, 2025, at Township Senior Living. Marilyn was born to Estil Loesing and Mary Lou (Kullman) Loesing on July 15, 1953, in Sedalia, MO. She was a loving mother and grandmother, always selfless and willing to help those in need. She was employed for 15 years at Computer Science Corporation as a Tech Analyst for 15 years. After moving from Ft. Worth to Boonville, MO she was employed at Columbia College as a Transcript Specialist.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Estil Loesing; mother, Mary Lou Loesing, infant daughter, Nichole Schwalie, and brother, Bruce Loesing.

She is survived by her son and his wife, James and Crystal Schwalie; two grandchildren: Madilynn, and Cooper Schwalie of Springfield, MO; as well as five siblings: Fred and wife Laura Loesing of New Franklin, MO, Karl Loesing of Columbia, MO, Nancy and husband Randy Widel of Boonville, MO, Mark and wife Sara Loesing of Boonville, MO, and Mary and husband Terry Spencer of Sevierville, TN, and also several nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes, Marilyn will be cremated with a private service on March 29, 2025 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia, MO.
